Making a personal website is a difficult task because it is a website that has become self-aware. Why make a personal website? (Entertainment, promotion, communication, self-importance, discovery) Most personal websites are of little entertainment; they promote and communicate little but loose amalgamations of pictures of friends and family with enter dispersed poetry and short stories. It is my goal to go beyond this petty self-importance and enter into self-discovery while managing to entertain visitors, promote myself as an artist, and communicate thoughtfully.

This website marks the beginning of a life long art project that involves photographing myself daily to document the procession of aging upon my face. As a greater amount of photos are cataloged, the plan is to produce a video at 15 frames per second making each year pass in a period of approximately 24 seconds. So, by the time I am 75 years old the video will be a little more than 20 minutes long. The website will also contain other entertaining variations on this theme. Of course the website will also feature other art projects I have completed and that I am working on. Enjoy the website and return often it is always under construction!
