Under Construction

The first piece I made using the six layer duct tape process was a self-portrait titled “Self-Construction” from my “Self-Titled” series of works.

After moving to Chicago, I chose to implement this duct tape technique on a larger scale starting with two 42″ square images of CTA trains at the 18th Street stop on the Pink Line. I also made these same two images as 24″ square duct tape artworks. The “Under-Construction Series” currently consists of 7 duct-tape artworks and 2 line drawings.
